The Grappa Stravecchia Tenuta San Leonardo represents the excellence of Italian distillation, available in our online wine shop in limited edition. Born from an idea by Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga, this premium aged grappa was created to complement the renowned White Grappa already in the range.
Artisanal High-Quality Production: The entire production cycle is monitored by Master Distiller Bruno Franceschini from Cavaion Veronese. A full-bodied, aromatic spirit with incomparable organoleptic properties, produced only in limited quantities: an unmissable opportunity for collectors and connoisseurs.
The Distillation Process: This premium grappa is made from selected pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carménère, and Merlot. After fermentation, the pomace is distilled between October and November using traditional copper steam stills with the discontinuous method. This is followed by precious aging for 5 years in French oak barriques, which gives complexity and roundness to the spirit.
