Description
From grapes from a single cru, Gulfi’s “NeroSanlorè” is Nero d’Avola of particular complexity and refinement. Its fine and persuasive texture corresponds perfectly to a multifaceted and reactive nose, with an inescapable iodized timbre son of the vineyard closest to the sea, from which it is only a few hundred meters away. Vigna San Lorenzo is in fact the plot that more than any other is influenced by the nearby beach, a few hectares in the district of the same name near Pachino. It is here that Nero d’Avola as we know it today is born, it is here that the most suitable vineyards, if cultivated according to traditional techniques refined in history to face the torrid climate of the area without resorting to irrigation, can give great red wines for aging, such as “NeroSanlorè”.
